Summer 2024 Tuition Rate per Hour for Media
The Media rate applies to the following majors in the College of Media:
- Advertising
- Journalism
- Media & Cinema Studies (admitted Summer 2023 or after) *** See Base Rate if admitted before Summer 2023
The Computer Science & Advertising major is charged the Engineering rate.
General education courses will be charged at the base rate tuition applicable to when the student entered the University and their residency status.
The cost of attendance also includes indirect cost allowances for food, housing, books, supplies and other expenses. You will not be billed by the university for these costs unless you live in university housing. Use the Illinois Cost Calculator for an estimated cost of attendance.
